Hello All,

I need to find a way to block a domain (or have it redirect) such as Apple (obviously not that particular one, lol) system-wide in OSX.

I guess /etc/hosts is one way, but I can't figure out how to get that to work!

Heh - love how Double click has modified my post with inline advertising. Perhaps I need a few more lines in my /etc/hosts.

sudo lookupd -flushcache may be necessary to flush your DNS cache for the changes to take effect.

Did the same thing my Apple link, I had typed it out originally.
