i'm working on a project in flash 5 (OS 9.0.4) and am having issues with memory while importing a 1.4MB file. I keep getting the not enough memory message. I've quit all apps, turned off several extensions and set the preferred size of memory allocated to the app via Find; however, I'm still getting this message!!!

I have plenty of RAM (512MB) and was just doing this last week with larger files.

Anyone have any advice? This is driving me up the wall.

Thanks!

Set both the minimum and preferred size to triple the suggested amount.
