Jane Fonda going to take a bus tour in a war protest.

You'd think that she'd have learned from her Hanoi Jane days, wouldn't you?

She'd better be wearing a bullet-proof vest, is all I can say. There are a lot of disturbed and angry Vietnam vets out there. Remember when she had her book signing and some guy waited hours just so that he could walk up to her and spit in her face?

Some people never learn, apparently.

She represents the Elite mentality very well.

Hanoi Jane Fonda. She'll never shake that name unless she actually feels sorry for the horrid things she did during the Vietnam War.

She has a lot of nerve. I wonder what our troops will think of her in the near future?

She SHOULD have been put away for treason all those years ago (I guess her celebrity status saved her from that), and we wouldn't have had to put up with her for the last few decades.

Great posts.

Oh, and you're right, budster and jcadam, on your points also.

I think she's psycho. She comes out and says that she is sorry for the way she acted during Vietnam and now she's going to go on a freaking bus tour to protest the war now? What a hypocrite.

LOSER JANE.

Apparently not. But there's still time. Maybe he'll grow up.

History repeats itself. The next step is to have a president withdraw our troops, run away, and get impeached for covering up! (PS She did NOT commit treason as we did NOT declare war!)

Hey, they can call her Faluja Jane Fonda now right?

Has a certain ring to it... it rings false to me.

I'm not a junior member but can I post

If she was truly sorry for what she did, I would think that she'd stay pretty far away from any war protest. Regardless at how she (or anyone feels) her protesting takes the focus away from the true issues of the war and resurrects her Hanoi Jane visiting the enemy while americans were being killed act.

Isn't that what they do? They "apologize" to those they offended, not for what they did or said.

An idiotic Senator from Illinois once said a few dumb things and he still does... DICK Durban... <

It's all about money. Please rabid left-wingers with public displays of radical behavior, and they will shower you with money.

It works for Howard Dean and Michael Moore, so there's no reason to think that Jane won't get a financial boost for filling the airwaves with the peacenik agenda.
