My mid 2012 Macbook air only last 4-5 hours on a plane. Do they sell anything that can extend that? thanks.

I goggled this, nothing satisfying came up!

There's this:

HyperJuice External Battery for Apple MacBook, iPad, iPhone, USB Devices

Also note that Mavericks extends battery life a bit.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

thanks, S, quickly looking at the site, everything is confusing, too bad they cannot just quickly say how it works.
But:

I thinking: something exist where once your laptop is dead, then you just plug it into something and it's now alive for another 5-6 hours?
Is that what this is? I'll probably also call BH Photo and see what they advise...

For $129, Apple will replace the battery.

I wouldn't even bother with an external battery.

In my experience, those don't last long, and lose capacity much quicker than Apple's batteries.

Even if it hasn't, unless you're flying business, there's no guarantee that you'll have power.

Only in newer planes you will find power consistently in economy.
