Blaze-
How do you get from your place to...anywhere else? I played around in the nether for a bit then it took me to your dome, I ran around for a while but couldn't find your rail system...

You need to head out Blaze's main entrance and keep going straight, that'll lead to his rail bunker that takes you to the village.

I'd like to arrange sometime when someone could help me fix the nether gate issue. All I think I need is for someone to go through a gate near the village when I've broken the gate in the nether near me. This should spawn a new nether gate unlike before were Dakar and Sek ended up in the a cave.

There's a gate near the village?
I could use a glowstone/soulsand run to begin with if anyone wants to make the trip.
---
Had a semi-successful weekend gathering resources. I now have a small but usable quantity of gold, though I still have near zero diamond. Looking at armor and tool options, I'm left wishing there was some type of ore between iron and diamond, as starting to work with enchanting, one seems like a waste of xp, and the other a gamble of resource rarity.
Otherwise, I'm hoarding resources, but I still don't know why. This time round, I'm pretty aimless.

I could use a few blaze rods, and glowstone is always a plus.
I'll certainly help you Blaze, next time we are both on we can get this done.

I forgot to mention, I have an urge to create a graveyard (to commemorate all my deaths - i.e., "remember that time I died to a creeper? Or that other time I died to a creeper? Then there was that time with the creeper.")
It's too bad there's no way to manufacture cracked stone brick. I want to make the place as creepy as possible.

I won't mention the block transmuter someone made then. Mostly because you can make a block that crashes the game engine whenever it's loaded. Though technically it makes double half cracked stone blocks.
I haven't make any eyes of ender and gone looking for a fortress yet.

I know of only 3 and the one at Seks is the closest to the village so if he's the one helping me that's probably the one we'll fix. It will be close enough that any others can be fixed by building gates under them in the nether.

I did just long enough to take three steps out of the shelter, get bombarded by a ghast, retreat, and then do the ironman from Blaze's back to shore.

Suspending water over it negates the purpose of a lava moat. Could just as easily used glass.

Well, nice to see that after several months off this game can still freeze up my iMac.
Otherwise, good times in the nether. That Fortress is massive.

I did the math and at 4 glowstone to a block, I "only" have a stack. Which is still pretty good, but not that staggering.
---
I finally followed some zombie sounds on my island retreat and discovered caverns underneath. We'll see if they're located in such a way to affect my mining (should I ever start).

Unfortunately they nerfed the fortune enchantment so you only get max 4 glowstone dust from a glowstone.

Same with clay blocks.
So I'm guessing Fortune never enchants on the same tool as Silk Touch? Or that it only applies to naturally placed blocks? Or they can't stack? Otherwise I could see some serious exploits.

Even if they could be on the same tool their effects are mutually exclusive. Silk touch doesn't break the block, fortune increases drops from blocks when they break.

The addition of blazes and whatever the nether slimes are called technically make it more dangerous but there are less ghasts and they're much more dangerous. Assuming you don't make a habit of killing pigman in public.

i.e., the effects don't stack. I figured, as I'd think that kind of craziness would be on the wiki page.

Various minor bug fixes and changes
Added an experience item to creative mode
Added a flame item…

could it be... MONKEYS?!?!?

You know, I don't mind them buffing other mobs, but tone down the creeper then.
Then again, I wonder if they have a set goal for how often you should be dying or what. I find zombies and skeletons plenty challenging now (spelunking) especially thanks to the health system. Not sure what they're trying to accomplish here.
Yes, I'd say it's a tiger.

Definitely a tiger. I'm wondering what resources it will drop.
If it's fur can be wrapped around wool blocks, then I'm pimping out my house.

If anyone needs a fishing rod they need to delete their minecraft client now.

Looks like they come in three varieties.
Well, I guess that's that then.
(Just kidding, it's a mod. But I did have to fight off a Drider when I was building the barn)

At first I was dismissive because driders as you put it aren't anything new. Then what I was seeing dawned upon me. The only thing I can say is. RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!

Good week on Minecraft, boyos. Another night of excellent results.
Finally got around to revamping the barnyard, just some soul sand and fence away from completing it. Also finally finished the road in front of the barn itself, and it's pretty sweet. You may notice some blocks missing – that's on purpose, to make it look weather worn and aged.
I'm testing out Blaze's suggestion on the barn. I think it does look better, but to properly implement it I may have to redo the entire second floor. It may get a brick roof in the process. I imagine that project is in the distant future.
Otherwise we nether'd it up again. Blaze rods for everyone.
Oh, if we ever get ocelots: Barn cats.

That Blaze Rod trip was fun, next time I'll have a half-dozen fire resist potions to bring with us.
Enchanted my first bow, got Damage 3 and Fire 1. Pretty sweet, almost seems like an enchanted bow is more worth it than an enchanted sword.

Yeah, I'll try to bring some as well. We should take turns chugging one and being bait.
And yeah, of course bows are way better. When do you really use your sword, really?
Perhaps I'll enchant another. Punch will be of no use to us.
---
Next up: Locate the Nether wart farm, and create a portal at the island retreat.
What would happen if we created a portal in a safe house at the fortress? Would it link to sek's or blaze's home portal?
