Where is the best place to have my powerbook insured? My homeowner's insurance will cover it for an extra premium, but how good will that actually do? Should I go with safeware, applecare, etc? Any experiences with safeware or anywhere? Thanks!

I had a rider put on my parents homeowners ins. it was cheap, plus they handled my problem really well. I believe my parents have meemic insurance, it is only offered to Michigan residents who are affiliated with Education. But for a $50 deductible they fixed the monitor on my pismo. I think my roommate closed the lid on some cords running acrossed the keyboard it bent and I lost a one pixel by 3 inch row, it sucked . but they fixed it right away after a few questions. Very happy with it.

Yes, that is probably what I am going to do. We have Farm Bureau Ins and my parents have an excellent homeowner's policy. They've had good service. That looks like my best bet, plus they are local and I can call anytime, which I like better than getting insurance over the net. Thanks for your advice, good to hear coming from another student, my powerbook better be able to stand college life! It's test starts next week!
