None in my tenure, and I don't see anything immediate this time.

Although, as you may guess, I'm not told everything. I don't even know everything surrounding the reasons for the shutdown.

Yup, he posted in this lounge once to recruit people to it, but got banned again (ban evasion I assume, too lazy to check).

Which makes it an issue if we're going to use it, as the person responsible for giving out flair and banning the undesirables is now Ca$h. Also, he probably doesn't even know yet.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Wow! I haven't been here much in the last couple of years, but this is a shocker! Hoping the forums survive! I retired, from Apple, in March, so maybe somebody's trying to tell me something?
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?

There's a new one not moderated by Rob (I think Laminar moderates it). Go there instead. https://www.reddit.com/r/MacNN/

It would be nice if this forum could survive somewhere.

I visited reddit, and it looks ...... intense.

I might end up migrating to MacRumors/AppleInsider. (still open to suggestions)

I'd like to stay in the "mac world" as im not too fond of PC forums/commenters.

Yeah, I'm also looking for a good Mac forum. I've always stuck around here, but honestly, this hasn't been a good "Mac" forum for a long long time.

I'd be down for the sub reddit, long as the PWL survives.

Also, you guys can find me in the Ars comments section, but it's not the same as here . Having stuck mainly to the PWL over the last few years, let me say that I have the utmost respect for each and every one of you, and will dearly miss our jousting on the topics of today. 8 days before the end of the NN world....how do we spend it?

The only 'NN images I still have are what I started saving once I got a Dropbox. So nothing from 1999-2002 when everyone claims it was actually a good forum.
