Last night I had a dream that heavily referenced one I think I had a couple of years back. This has has happened to me once before at least. Anyone else?
I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

Same here. It's quite infrequent, but every once in awhile there's a continuation. Or a rerun that isn't identical.

Yes, same here. Once in a while, I dream of me playing soccer in elementary school which was many years ago. I continue my dream from what I did before. Who said that you cannot read in your dreams? I can definitely read in my dreams and have caught myself reading in my dreams a few times before.

I woke up thinking I had previously spent some time living in a particular street (that probably doesn't exist) in a town I have never lived in.

Happens to me frequently, I've had many that have continued like a TV series. Also my brain likes to "replay" real life events but with different outcomes, based on different decisions I could have made.

yes, even repeats if they're good dreams, though you can't always control that.

I never tend to dream about reality much.

The sequel dream in question involved a street that doesn't exist, about ten miles from where i actually live that had a sizeable population of voodoo witches. This was a sequel to a dream about the same street years previously, but back then most of the residents were Cuban.

It's so thrilling that you, as waragainstsleep, asks this question - fitting!

Sequels here, too, btw, but last night's dreams were somewhat crowdy...

Not a sequel but I just had a dream that referenced an event from a dream I had ages ago. Both dreams were set in the same (non-real) place and this made me realise that I have had quite a lot of dreams set in this place. Its a mashup of numerous places I have known in the past and it varies in layout in my dreams and even its location changes a bit, though only by a mile or so.

I frequently dream I'm on vacation, but with people I'd never vacation with (high school friends, people I don't talk to, people I've had arguments with). It turns into a hell vacation and frequently we flee for our lives.

I sometimes dream I'm spending time in random places with random people from my past too. Often they morph seamlessly from one random person to another during the dream without me really noticing until the end.

Last week I had a dream where I was hanging out with Andy Warhol and a shirtless Tom Jones. Tom was the president of the USA and had a Spanish villa in the heart of NYC. He had a shrine with photos of him with various celebrities. I'd been there before (previous dream?).

Then I "woke up" and Donald Trump was the president of America.

I'm still waiting to wake up for real.

My dreams frequently have recurring locations. Sometimes similar action. Guess I'm just unimaginative.
