Hello, and good day!

I have a question for more seasoned iTunes people... I currently have an iPod Shuffle that has "Autofill" where I give it a playlist and it picks 1gb of music for me. But I do not see any indication that any of the other iPods (the smaller capacity Nano, iPhone or Touch) have this feature.

So I thought maybe I'd create a smart playlist that says "Limit to 8GB selected by Random" but the selections it came back with do not look random at all... Also, I do not know how to get it to pick another random 8gb. Can anyone help? Or suggest a way to "Autofill" with another device?

Thanks!
-Mike

I mean that i sort by artist, and it looks like it picks an artist and pulls 40 of their songs. I was hoping for something that looks more like Party Shuffle or Autofill.

That isn't really the point.... I don't mean the randomization of the tracks is an issue, it's the randomization of the music selection.

Can anyone else chime in, please?

I'd LOVE for Apple to add "Autofill" as an option for iPods other than shuffles.
