Loading a website is very slow, but when I did a Speakeasy Speed Test the speeds that came back were VERY fast. Is there some setting I need to change in order to get the websites to load?

Is it all sites, or only specific ones? Have you tried different browsers or is it related to only one browsers.
What type of sites of they, perhaps the content is such that it consumes a lot bandwidth, such as websites that leverage flash.

More important, what are your computer's specs? How much memory? What browser are you using? Do you have any weird browser plug-ins? Have you tried emptying your browser's cache?

I will have to check the specs. It is a friends iMac. I tried using Safari and Firefox and they both were slow. I remember trying to load Cnn.com, Google.com and Facebook.com.
I assumed it was their DSL connection, but when I ran the speedtest website the speeds were surprisingly fast.

Check any plugins or extras for the web browsers also, as those can cause slowdowns.
