Power went out during Time Machine BU, now Time Capsule won't mount.

The title pretty much explains my problem. The error in the Time Machine preference pane says it is unable to mount my TM backup. On the first of December my power went off and turned right back on. I am assuming this was the cause of the problem.
I recently (2 weeks ago) formatted my time capsule and started over because I was having problems with it. I don't want to have to format the drive again and start over. TC has caused more headaches than solutions....

A UPS should be used for all sorts of reasons, but backups and firmware/OS updates are at the top of the list.

Sorry, I had meant to ask if you've tried Disk Utility to see if it sees your TC.

If you can't find it with Disk Utility as ghporter suggests, you're likely going to have to just reformat the TC HD (from AirPort Utility) and start all over. I second the UPS suggestion. If something happens in the middle of a backup procedure, it usually corrupts the entire backup file. Many users have found this is especially true with Time Machine.
