On Monday when I came to work I found my computer making a really loud noise. One of the fans ones making a scraping noise. The fan is on the graphics card - an nvidia geforce 7800.
Anyone have a similar issue? Does it mean my graphics card needs to be replaced, or is there a way to fix the fan on it.
If the fan is going (and that isn't an uncommon thing) you can always get a replacement at Fry's, Newegg, etc and mount it on there. Just make sure you find the power connector on the card and get a fan that has a matching power connector.
