Hi is there some place where I can view benchmarks on the new laptops? I am specifically looking for After Effects benchmarks.

If I am able to download the actual files used in the benchmark to try them out, that would be awesome.

I currently have a Core 2 duo Mac Book Pro, and I spend a lot of time in After Effects and Final Cut Studio. I would like to see how the new laptops compare.

Will the 15" i7 blow away my 15" Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz?

FYI it just took 15 hours to encode 1080p XDCAM EX footage into H.264 720p. I hope the i7 can encode much quicker...

Core i5/i7 is awesome for h264 encoding. Arrandale's FP performance is great and it really shows when you encode.
