i have an old Epson printer which prints fine, but only has LocalTalk and parallel ports.

There is no built in support in OS X for this printer, and it's unlikely Epson will put out a driver for a printer this 'old' (1998) BUT, I have a Keyspan serial to USB adaptor- is it possible to print to the Epson with some clever driver programming?

The physical link is there- I just would like to know how difficult it would be to write something like this (and retain the full set of printing features).

thanks

I was in the same boat as you, it isn't worth any trouble. You can get an Epson c60 which is damn good and has USB and OSX drivers for under $100.

Trust me.

I got a c80 and I am kickin' it!
