Hola;

I would take this thing into an Apple store, but I'm a ghetto ass college student with zippo cash.
My iBook no longer goes to sleep when I close the lid. Via searching these forums, I found that I could test for a bad magnet by holding a magnet up to the screen below the microphone, and if it goes to sleep than I have a misplaced / faulty magnet. I tried this and my iBook did indeed go to sleep correctly after passing the magnet over the screen below the microphone. I've also placed a paper clip near the top of the right hand rest, and there is a magnet there and appears to be pretty strong. I assume this means that somehow my magnet has moved.
If so, how do I fix this thing? Any ideas?
Please.
jesse ;-)
