Have you asked Google?

Or you can look up how to do it yourself, such as at this site.

You might try out gruntbull. http://gruntbull.com/ they do amazing work. I have gotten some yoyos done by them. The turn around is pretty good. Depends on time though, they might be swamped with orders now that it's around holiday times.

You might try other paintball anodizers or automotive anodizers as well. Most of them do a great job and they are usually wiling to work on other devices and whatnot.

p.s. sorry about the necro.

He's right. ColorWare uses a "coating" (i.e. "paint") process.

Anyone with the right kind of laser can import your graphics file and burn it on an appropriate surface. I don't know what wavelength is best for iPods or Macbooks, but again, I'd google for "laser" in your area and try to figure out how to screen out all the cosmetic services.
