dunno if anyone is interested but i just returned from my trip to germany, austria, and the netherlands. it was a great trip but i'm glad to be home and back to the things i didn't have over there (cold drinks, my computer, tv, humidity, and shitty beer). alright maybe not so much on the shitty beer and humidity. anyway tons of pics here http://www.mafia-designs.com/europe/europe%20page.html. we went to frankfurt, heidelburg, stuttgart, munich, innsbruck, fussen, berlin, and amsterdam.

Intentional?

You're a good man!
Now, any crazy stories. I find that each time I go to Europe, I add another... So I was at this bar/club story to my list.
oh, by the way the photos look great.

ummm a few crazy stories, we 3 were at a bar drinking some beer and my friend was sort of tired. well after a few drinks we came up with this plan to let him take the room key and we would keep the outside hotel key. we thought that at about 9.30 the outside door should still be unlocked and he could leave the room unlocked for when me and my other friend came in. so he was on his way and we went to the next bar. well about 3 hours later we head back get into the hotel and the room is locked. the bathroom was right next to our room so i climbed out the window and was trying to knock on the bedroom window. and just as i get all the way out the window i look down, and sure enough i see my other friend wondering around on the street. aparently the door had been locked and he was not able to get in. but when he came to the bar to find us (the bar was located in a garden, hofgarten, and he was unable to find it. not only that but he got circled by homeless people in the park. he told us the only thing he could think was how he could kill a bum fastest. he then proceeded to barrel roll over a homeless person and take off running. no one gave chase. but he had spent the last 3 hours in a bar down the road from the hotel and had just happened to return at the exact same time as us. the really funny thing is we over heard someone at the bar talking about how they saw someone get circled by bums and almost get jumped. meh was one of the crazy stories.

Shouldn't upload them and advertise about it if you're not willing to take the time to make them oriented correctly.

Never heard that it can be "dangerous" in there!?
Great pictures! Did you like the "Deutsche Museum"? The best is getting really stoned and then exploring the mine (I hope you have been in there) on a sunday afternoon!

Sucker!
You drove/walked past my house (about a mile and a half upstream from where this picture was taken) and didn't even bother to say hello? You wait until you get back here ...

What the heck are you talking about ? Soda machines on every corner ?
Maybe that you won't find, but I could swear they had cold drinks available almost anywhere the last time I was in Germany (April).

Yeah - I heard about that one, too. Wait until we get color TV - that'll be the sh*t. When I went to the US (for some cold drinks, mind you), they had color TVs everywhere - unbelivable, I tell ya!!

yes you do have tv's, but we stayed in cheap hotels which do not. also i do not speak german watching would be difficult.

very cool, i wish i would have known you lived there we could have gone out for drinks. it was during the week and we weren't real sure where to go during the night. went to a bar called goodfellas. the bar tender was real nice and spoke perfect english. he even took us out after they closed and covered the whole tab. eek which was pretty expensive after numurous rounds of jager shots.

Yeah, you are right, Dr. Pepper is hard to find (not impossible, though).
On the other hand, you get beer EVERYWHERE, on every street corner, in movie theaters, fast food chains etc... That beats Dr. Pepper, IMO

no doubt. the incredible beer definitely made up for the lack of my favorite soda. i got back and had a coors light and it was just gross. i am spoiled and now have to spend the money for the semi decent beer in america.

If I may make a suggestion:
If you like German Pils(ener) beers, Warsteiner is a steal at Sam's Club.
24 12oz bottles for like $ 17. That's how I survive here
