With great anticipation, I waited for the release of the new iPods with the hope that I would be able to get the $205CAN rebate if I purchased it with a Mac from the Educational Store.

Do you guys know if the new generation of iPods (nano and the new video) qualifies for the rebate? The rebate form is very specific about which iPod model numbers qualify for the rebate. If these new iPods do not qualify... then i am not sure how I would go about purchasing one of the old iPods...

Just check the rebate form. My understanding is neither the new 24" iMac nor the new metal iPods qualify, but I haven't checked the form today.

The form only works with the old models of iPod; it also expired on the 12th.
