Where I work there are lots of iMacs being unpacked and installed at desks and offices. They normally dispose of the boxes + packaging but I thought it might be a neat idea to take those boxes home and sell them to people online who might need them. Perhaps some of you bought an iMac, threw out the packaging, and then wish you hadn't because you want to sell it to someone else online, or want to move and keep it safe.

Anyway, if any of you think you might be interested in buying iMac boxes with the original packaging, please let me know and I will take some home and ship them to you.

You can probably get $50 for them on eBay. Just be sure to say "empty box" in the ad, otherwise people will buy and accuse you of fraud.

Yeah they sell pretty well as long as they're in good condition. As mduell said, you can probably get 50 bucks each, give or take for all the packaging material

I'd be interested in a 20" Intel iMac box if you have one.

I'm interested. Where do you live? I'll come and pick them up if you live close to me.

Appleton, WI.

I'm offering $30 dollars for the box and the packaging itself, no shipping. I don't know how much it would cost to ship a large lightweight box. The packaging is not 100% complete., for example, I might not have every little plastic wraper for every part, but all the Styrofoam is there. If you want, I will take pictures of the packaging.
