Is there any way to remove a Mac from Leopard's Finder under 'Shared' in the left source column? I've looked for a preference setting but was unable to locate it.

If you are looking to remove all macs from the 'Shared' in the left, its Finder->Preferences->Sidebar (3rd tab across top of this preference pane). You'll see 3 checkboxes under 'Shared' and you can uncheck whatever you don't want to show up. "Bonjour computers" are the ones on your local network, so unchecking that should do the trick for you.

Short answer is: Yes (but possibly not the way you would like it to be done).

Turn off file sharing on the other Mac. Not necessarily appropriate, but if you don't want it to show up on the network at all, then I believe this should do the trick.

if you could disable Bonjour... that would help too.
" That is just crazy, man!"
