I am having the hardest time putting the Control key back on my Macbook, it just popped off today. On my old iBook I just pressed it on, but these keys are different. Anyone know the specifics?
Thanks

How can you possibly pop a key off a MacBook? They're like... anti-pop keys!
Black MacBook 2.0GHz Core Duo, 1GB RAM.
Logitech V270 Bluetooth mouse, Brenthaven Metro (black).

the ~ (tilede) key on my black macbook has broken off once and the second one is about to break off. (i guess i use apple ~ too much to switch windows?) the crap part is that my local apple store only has white replacement keys -- i had a white one on there for a while -- and to get a black one requires sending it back to applecare .

the key should simply pop back on unless the pins underneath have broken (which was the case of my first one). if the pins underneath have broken, you need to get a replacement key.

After spending an hour trying to replace the key I quit. I went to the Apple store and they fixed it right up.

By the way a 2 year old boy can break just about anything that is supposed to not be breakable.
