Rule of thumb, if people give you suggestions and you show no interest in trying them, and ask for more help, you won't get it.

You can use ffmpegX to convert between formats, and it's free.

Why do people buy Toast?

Isn't it commercial software, or does it come with some peripherals?

you can't 'convert' a set of bin/cue files to a Divx. Bin/Cue files are a Disk image, a Divx file is a movie format.
What you can do is use Toast to possibly mount the disk image (you may have to rename the larger of the two files .iso, but I cant remember if it's the .bin or .cue) then use something else, possibly ffmpegX to convert the Movie file on the mounted disk image to a Divx. Alternatively you could just burn the file to CD or DVD instead of mounting it.

Here are some more detailed instructions I found after a quick google

Just drag the .bin file onto VLC - should just play it as is. (Well it works with ISO's)
I free'd my mind... now it won't come back.
