Would anyone know by any chance what would be the respective salary for Apple Store Concierge, Specialist, Genius in the uk.

I have applied to work there and i have been to the interview, but, somehow the salary was not mentionned.

probably less than you need, but more than enough.

If you get to the second interview, and they offer the job, then ask. You can still turn it down.

Concierge? I wasn't aware Apple had a chain of hotels. Are you talking about regular sales employees?

You know there's a problem with the retail industry when they have to have a specialist "concierge" role. Shouldn't every member of customer-facing staff in a retail establishment perform a "concierge" role?
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.

Not necessarily. The Concierge in an Apple store is like a traffic director. If a customer comes in with tech support issues, they direct them to the Genius bar. If they are interested in buying something or asking about product, they're directed toward a Specialist. If they're coming in for training, they're directed toward a Creative. That way, every one focuses on what their role is, and no one is tied up doing something that may be more efficiently done by someone more qualified. The customer also wins, as he gets more efficient service.
