Wrong forum.

There's a review for you.

What forum would you suggest? I looked around and this seemed to be the best.

To be fair, I just bought the app and it's pretty cool. I really like the sort by age feature.

Thanks.... I really wasn't trying to spam, Just promote my app.

I thought throwing it in the other forums would have spamming.

Pretty cool, I hope you make a million bucks. I'm working with some friends on making an iPhone app. I'll see how it goes.

I'm not the "WRONG FORUM!" guy around here at all, but I think a quick look around the forums would indicate that the iPhone/iPod forum is best for this kind of thing (hence the iPhone/iPod label).

Might your decision have been made due to the fact that this forum gets the most traffic, which would potentially increase your app's downloads?

But don't worry...I'm gonna check it out.

Nice app.

I like the fact that you focused on one thing and decided to do that one thing very well.

I moved this thread to iPhone. Can't comment on the software, because the app doesn't seem to run on my Moto PEBL.

Honestly, I looked over a few days worth of threads in this forum, didn't see any other iPhone App announcements so decided to just throw it in the lounge as the (... for everything else)... Happy it is here, because that is where it belongs.

The hardest part was:

A) Getting accepted by Apple
B) Getting the application accepted once built.

Those two things took over 7 months alone.

The app took 4-6 weeks.

Seriously? Seven months? How much of that was getting accepted to the program vs. getting the app accepted, just out of curiosity?

Very serious.

3/7/2008 - Applied
8/16/2008 - Accepted (5.5 months)
8/18/2008 - Uploaded iDayZ 1.0
9/6/2008 - Rejected for a bug (3 weeks)
9/29/2008 - Uploaded iDayZ 1.1
10/6/2008 - Approved

Ok, so maybe not 7 months... but still.

I know. As I've noted before, people in these forums are anxious to label posts as spam. They suffer from Spamophobia.

For those of you who are allergic to penicillin, you could try removing the blunt object...

Wow. Switching between the different categories (Age, Type & Name) is much faster. In the previous version there was a 4-5 second lag. Now it's instant. Nice!
