I update from panther to tiger and when i open ichat i get this message IChat was unable to login to the AOL Intstant messenger service because your screen name or password was incorrect. The login id and password is correct i tried keychain to check the password and its the same on i put in i tired changing password still does not work i can login to aim no problem my nephew tired his ichat account and it worked. help

This might be related to a problem at AOL. Your account might have been disabled. go to aim.com and try to resolve the issue with them.

Try to create a new user account on Mac OS X and see if it helps. I might be a corrupted preference file or something...

Thanks for trying to help i found out that my screen name had an extra letter go figure( it was aready filled in so i thought i was right) hours of trying to figure it out and its a little thing thanks agian
