I have installed bootcamp succesfully on my Macbook, another family member came over, and at the bottom of his little green bar at the bottom on the right hand side there were all sorts of icons showing his wireless networks and their stregths. Can you use wireless networks in windows after boot camp?

Yes. BootCamp 1.2 includes wireless drivers for Vista and XP.
