Hello ya'll for some reason my Macbook is struggling to load OS X Leopard. I can login into my computer and the dock appears. as do my top right icon (such as bluetoon, wireles, clock...) however Finder still is unable to load and finally appears after waiting 5-10 mins.

Any ideas as to what is going on?

Have you made any changes to the MB lately? Installed new RAM, etc?

Important question: How much empty HD space do you have? You should have about 8 GB free, more would be better. Is the HD making strange noises, clicking or grinding?

Depending on your answers to the above questions, your HD may be going bad. You've got everything backed up, right?
