Remember this patches code and does no error checking so it might mess up VLC if something changes radically at some point. Other apps shouldn't be affected because the actual VLC patching code is only inserted when the patch detects it's inside the VLC app. Lots of babbling but just move to the trash if anything is acting up and all trace of it will be gone

Does this work with VLC 0.8.0?

In my opinion, rather tawdry.

The best thing to do, in my opinion, is use pic2icon on this gem:

The icon in this thread is lovely, but the cone more immediately registers "VLC" in my mind.

Your taste sucks because the shadow is truncated on the bottom.

And you're a moron, because it's easy-as-pie to fix that in Photoshop or the like--not that you need to, because once that icon's down to 128x128 or less, the truncation is not noticeable, especially in the dock.

I'm not quite sure why you're attacking me, but yes, perhaps because I am a "retard," I am the one who has some growing up to do.

Calling people a moron for one doesn't help the forum out.

And calling someone a "retard" is all that much more mature (and helpful), eh? Someone attacks my taste for an arbitrarily and eventually unaccountable reason and says that it "sucks"; now I'm sorry for the petty retaliation, but your adolescent gibing doesn't even have a close-to-similar reason for you to have put it into effect.

Now don't be ashamed to go ride off into the sunset with kwyjiboy in tow (or saddle).

Edit: Oh, and as far as helping the forum out, my initial post helped the forum by allowing another custom VLC icon available to unknowing users. My post after that (despite the moronic comment) at least reassured users that the err in my taste was negligible and/or fixable. This post serves one point: to show you that your retarded comment is not only moronic as well, but in an oxidized kind of way.
