dang ... i wonder how they will perform when the car/tires go sideways. i wonder if it can take the torque/flex...

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Should be standard issue on all 'thug cars' here in a year.
Beats spike strips so the 'po-po' can't stop em.

Just what I was wondering Bet you can't do a decent power slide with them! Still, no punctures and apparently they last forever.

I guess they'll look better if cars are designed around them, rather than being stuck onto cars meant for normal tyres... But we won't be seeing these things on normal cars for quite a while.

How will those stand up to driving at 50 mph and hitting a nice pot hole make them look. Those will put more stress on the suspension too with bumps and road imperfections that normal tires don't transfer.

They made airless tires before they ever invented tires with air! They added the air to make the ride softer, but airless is no innovation.
Now, if it's an airless tire that rides as nicely as a pneumatic tire, that IS noteworthy.

P.S. Doesn't that tire look just exactly like the profile of the DVD Doctor disc repair gadgets?

OK, I didn't read the links (just looked at the pic here)... ...is that how they look or is that a prototype cutaway and the real thing is intended to be encased in a normal tyre?
