Chimera unfortunately doesn't smooth these forums, neither does IE. It'd look much better if the forums used a font other than Geneva, since that's the only one that doesn't get smoothed

I like the Geneva font. I gets smoothed properly in iCab. Check your Chimera preferences, maybe? If you have a font, it should smooth. If you do not have a font, your default font should appear in it's place (and be smoothed).

I don't have a problem with the fonts in Chimera. (though I'm in 9 at the moment and can't check )
Is it possible that you have the prefernces set to not antialias fonts below a certain size?

I think the font is too small when it renders in Mozilla. But once I increase the view to 120% it's great! Increasing the size of the font in MacNN would be cool.
