Has anyone else had problems, when they have iTunes running (playing music) and then they hear an alert sound, you hear static?

I use proteus, and each time someone sent me a message the music would stop and you'd hear static/mixed with the alert sound.

But if i stop itunes I don't hear it. Vise/Versa...

Is anyone else having this problem?

I have noticed some wierd static problems on mine as well. But it hasn't done it in a few days. Maybe it was breaking in the speakers My iBook used to do the same thing on occasion.

Another thing I did see, was strange screen problems. When it is first turned on the display is drawn in huge noticable blocks. Also when I restart the background fades halfway to blue and sticks there until it restarts.

That's straight up software. Don't worry about that one.
