News sites really ought set a "negative" flag on their stories when there is a negative story about something. Then the page could advertise air travel or puppies, or something less inappropriate.

THIS is exactly the reason why Google (ad NON-sense) is going to lose the advertising battle against new upcoming companies. The latest ad sensing technologies go away from just key words, understanding context and content.
