The lacie disk can go either way from what I see on mine. You can screw the stand on on it to the top or bottom. odd! The logo would be upside down then!

I believe the computer is actually UnixMac's dual 2.5 and I think the cards are USB and firewire (IEEE 1395) cards.

^ was going to show a friend the mess under my table but realized it looked kinda cool.

Same old boring setup. No fancy zen aluminum monitors, no g5s.. just the brutal looking speakers and my cool lamps -- as well as the 'crazy holdout g4' and a 'old cinema display' ... wish I could get a PB but I'm not worrying much about it.

I still feel quite privileged to use it everday!

Lovely stuff! The current Apple Displays looks stunning when paired up.

I really want a second 30" Display (Even though it would be overkill).

Trance - great set-up. Love the pair of 23ers.

Tervor - it's never overkill. I am hoping to pick another one up after the move.

Thanks Milien. I was debating 30's or 23's. Went for 23's because I needed more memory for my video editing workstation... plus a separate HD display for monitoring HD shoots/video. At the time I only had 512mb on the G5... bumped it up to 2.5GB now... and I can't wait to get it over the 4Gb hill. The 30's are beautiful...congrats Milien and Trevor on your purchase.

Okay guys and gals, a question for you;

This thread has grown to 32 pages and is several years old. Most of the links to pictures in the first 3/4 of the thread no longer work and cause rather annoying load hangs.

So I figured I'd propose the idear of locking this itteration of the Power Mac Picture Thread up, and opening up a new one. I'd sticky the new version so it would always be near the top, which I believe is justified as this is easily the number one thread in the Power Mac forum, and I'd also include a link to this itteration of the thread.

Thoughts guys?
