Hi everyone. I hope you all had a nice ThanksGiving. I am hoping that everyone can help me again. Anytime I have a problem that I can't solve, someone here always gives me the help in need!
I just purchased an 800mhz 14.1 IBook. I doubled the memory (Apple installed) and installed a airport card ( I installed). The IBook had been working fine since I got it (10 days ago).
All of a sudden, the video started flashing and going nuts. I went to run Tech Tool on it and I couldn't move the mouse. Just the video was flashing, shutting off, and had lines running all over it.
I shut it off and booted up off of the Hardware Test CD that came with the IBook. I then ran a quick test and all of the items passed. Actually, the flashing video problem then went away. I then rebooted and started working.
I would say 10 minutes went by and then it started going nuts again. I did the same procedure that I did prior, but no good. I then took the SODIMM out and booted again to see if I had a bad memory module. No Good.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for the help!!!
