I drive the Chevrolet Suburban XL 3/4 ton in white which I LOVE and a Saab Turbo convertible which I also love - but the Suburban is my favorite vehicle with a leather interior, captain's chairs in the first front four seats, reclining, heated seats, sunroof, OnStar, and a lot of other really cool features. The Saab is great for zipping down to Miami or the Florida Keys. Both are 2004 vehicles and I bought both slightly used (I hate new car sticker mark-up) and the Suburban had 20K miles on it and the Saab had 9500 miles on it when I bought them.

Heh, that's for sure -- but I still love it. It's a mean looking haus.

But to answer, they took it in (in front of the other vehicles since I'm bringing it back) and hopefully they'll get it taken care of. It's the oddest thing, as if the compressor is trying to go out -- but the computer couldn't find anything wrong. Sometimes the AC will work, other times it won't -- then all of a sudden it will kick-in and work fine.

We'll see.

Are there any other big issues with Titan? Ive been thinking of one later on in life. Thats one of the reasons i like my old Datsun truck. Right now it burns gas like mad, diesels when you shut it down, and has one hell of a gas smell when it starts up. All because the distributor problem. The shaft is loose so the rotor can move about 10mm is either direction. But thats not a big deal since ive got 2 more of these trucks at my granddads in SC and they are shipping a good distributor from my 76 model.

I've always liked the Taurus, especially the latest models. They are very reliable and extremely affordable. (Especially if you get a 1 year old off-lease model which can be had for nearly 1/2 price!) I've had 3 Taurus's in my life ... 1988, 1997 and 2001. I had usage of a 1993 SHO for a while as well.

My current car stable (I'll post pictures later)
1997 Taurus SHO (V8)
2001 Taurus SES (V6)
2004 Dodge SRT-4 (Fast as frack)
- MacBook Air M2 16GB / 512GB
- MacBook Pro 16" i9 2.4Ghz 32GB / 1TB
- MacBook Pro 15" i7 2.9Ghz 16GB / 512GB
- iMac i5 3.2Ghz 1TB
- G4 Cube 500Mhz / Shelf display unit / Museum display

I'm not a fan of the Clitarus expect for the SHO model.
I rock a bicycle whenever possible but occasionally drive this.

Renault Clio 1.6 16V. Special Renault Mille Miglia wheels (those are quite unique), air con, sunroof, leather interior, sports seats, good radio. I just would like to add Xenon lights but they are a bit expensive (gives soo much more light = safer and they look kinda cool).

It's from 2001 if anyone cares and has 70400 km on the clock. I get up to 6,5 liters/100km with it when I drive normally. But my driving style makes it do 7,2l/100km.

21 years old/104,000 miles. A neighbor had crashed in the driver's door that weekend, but that scratch and hole was fixed already. The car looks great.

Like driving it a lot, however from time to time I have to kick her butt to go on.

30 miles/gallon, no kidding

Next project involved replacing the gas pump which is not old anymore, but an antique...

None whatsoever. The bed liner was a factory issue that Nissan resolved by changing liner companies. In fact, they didn't just replace the bad liner -- they replace the ENTIRE bed of my truck (parts like the lights, tailgate, etc. were reused, of course). THAT'S good customer service (and the $9.99 oil changes are nice, too).

I cannot express how sweet the Titan is, and its done nothing but win highest ratings when compared to trucks in its class. Ford? The Titan spanked it. Chevy? Not even close. GMC? Spanked. Toyota? Toasted. The Tian has more HP and torque, not to mention a BOAT LOAD more room.

The Titan is the new standard, and the opinion results and awards keep proving this.

It's worth noting, that I have the Crew Cab SE since I like cloth interiors. However, you can totally soup the Titan with DVD, navigation, and all kinds of bells and whistles, taking it from a "truck" to a more "luxury" vehicle.

Hey cjrivera - nice house.
Rental? Interesting. Who rents Priuses?

P.S. I betcha the previous renter didn't add a full tank of gas... and when you got it the 40 miles was just enough to lower the digital gas gauge a notch.

I drive a 2001 Ford Focus ZX3, and it's PAID FOR.

I have no intention of buying another car until this one is DEAD, because financing a car is like throwing money in the drain.

That's true of just having a car, whether it's financed or not. It's also a waste to throw money at an old clunker with no resale value that you don't enjoy driving just to keep it running.

Yup, I got rid of my last car cuz it was costing me 4 digit $ every year just to keep it in reasonable driving condition.

The money I save on public transport or car bullshit gets spent irresponably elsewhere. When I need a need a car (read:in the US) I totally rock the Chevy Cavalier. Beige usually. Booya!

And I don't pollute (unless I've had Mexican food).

Nissan has had an amazing resurgence since French Renault and Carlos Goshn have taken over. I am still interested in seeing the mid to long term effect in term of reliability of the changes they have brought to the company. Just like VW made some compromises, using cheaper parts in order to offer luxurious interiors at a reasonable cost, I am afraid Nissan By Renault might have done the same and what used to be bullet-proof vehicles might not sustain the effects of the passing time. Time will tell I guess. In the mean time enjoy your new Nissans.
