I got my 15 al PowerBook on Saturday and it works great except for some minor screen imperfections. The upper right half is slightly brigher and more yellow thatn the lower left half. There are also two slightly bright spots on the screen. I edit videos on my PowerBook, and the imperfections are driving me nuts. Most people would probably think I'm too picky and it would be easy for an Apple Store rep to say there is nothing wrong.

Should I insist they fix it or just live with it? I kind of feel that my $2200 deserve a better screen.

Take it to your Apple Store and they'll replace it for the white spots. I'm getting my third replacement tomorrow. I edit video on mine as well and they DO drive you nuts...I know this.
It's just an ordinary day and it's all your
state of mind, at the end of the day, you
just gotta say it's alright!

How long do you have to wait to have it replaced?

I take it you go to the Mayfair store?
