I'm picking up an AM radio station on my 333Mhz iMac when dialing out via Address Book. Alos my modem is only connecting at 14.4 or slower. I do not pick up the radio station on regular phone (same line). Anyone know of a filter for the electric and phone line for the iMac. A friend with a new PC in a different part of town has this same problem.

Try pluging you're iMac into another outlet.

I was able to solve the problem by installing an in-line filter (.5-3 Mhz) from Radio shack. The filter plugged into the wall mounted phone jack, then the line from the modem port plugged into the filter. Connection speeds went from 14.4 to 45.333 plus.

Now call the station in question and present them with the bill for the filter.
