Hi people,

I was hoping that some of you experts would be able to tell me why the OS crashed last night. This thing is less than a week old. I'm not necessarily worried yet, but I have no "skills" to read the crash log. Here it is. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Wow interestingly my C2D MBP also had its first kernel panic last night as well. My Macbook looked exactly the same as yours and has something to do with airport. My internet stopped working so I set the book down on the couch and went in the other room to check the router cables. I came back to find the book had panicked and needed to be restarted. So far no other problems with it. I'll chalk it up to freak occurrence unless it happens again.

it looks like something to do with airport (duh)...

if it happens again, your airport card might be loose :-)

I thought the airport "card" was just built-in and soldered to the logic board. If it's loose, that would be an issue.

Thanks for the replies. I appreciate it.
