Hi guys,

It was coming, I guess. My TiPB 400 Apple Portable Power Adapter just died. Does any of you know where can I get one for a fair price?

Thanks,

http://store.apple.com/ should always have them available. You can try www.pcconnection.com and www.amazon.com for tax-free purchases and a deal sometimes.

Mine just died, too. Must be time for Apple to replace the TiBooks, huh? I spent a little more money and go the iGo Juce, instead of just replacing the dead one. It works today with either my TiBook or the Dell laptop I have to carry for work, and I figure it will work with the new Mac laptop I get as soon as Apple announces them. Plus, if I ever really feel like I have to work on the plane, the iGo will charge either of my laptops there, too.

Just talked to Apple, it seems I need the 65 W power adapter $79. I think it is quite expensive though ( for that price I could get a 512 MB chip).

Does anybody know how to open the yo-yo adapter? may be it is possible for me to repair it.

I'm pleased, very pleased.

I stopped by in my Department repair shop where a guy called Jim works (he used to be a mechanic at the Air Force). It took him 35 minutes to fix the damn power supplier.

I'll have to do a little glue job, but my battery is running 100% now. You can not beat that

Thanks you all
