I guess digital touchups are allowed. Disappointing, that. Contrast and basic lighting I don't mind, but some of those have had some serious work done on them.
I like the Beach Cleaner of Negombo. Great positioning and flow, and the cleaner is captured perfectly. You almost expect him to keep moving....

GoldenHammer... that Hong Kong skyline foto of yours shouldn't be included in the contest (it's POTY 2003 right?)... look, it's not even taken in the year of 2003! Many new buildings such as the IFC2 or the RP Apartments are missing.

We don't set any restriction on when the photo was taken. All photos in this final gallery are selected from some 3,000 photos submitted for our monthly contests in the year 2003.
By the way, it is difficult to get a wide shot again now, not because of any other issues but the clarity of the sky and air. I have tried several times for a new version, but could not get the same quality result as this one.
Keep trying however.
