I wanted to import a CD yesterday, and I wanted to modify the format to import the CD songs... it used to be under iTunes Pref. - Advance - Importing... and you could change the fromat and quality... But on iTunes 8 I can't seem to find these options.. where are they ?

iTunes-->Preferences-->General. Look for "When you insert a CD:" There's an Import Settings button. Click that.
