Mac Mini Entertainment System - Leave On or Off

So i have my mac mini set up on my home entertainment unit . . . I'm wondering, should I leave it on all the time or should I set i up on a sleep schedule . . . the only problem with the sleep schedule is that the 1TB MyBook I have hooked up to my AEBS never want to mount again on the Mac Mini via my Airport Express . .
thoughts, comments, suggestions?

Are you going to be using it a lot? If so then I don't really see a problem with it running all the time.

eh . . only when I want to watch a quick movie . . . and of course in the morning when it wakes me up

My G4 Mini runs 24/7, for the past nearly 4 years. No problem leaving it running if you want to.
I always leave my CPUs run 24 hours a day and shut the monitors down at night/work time.

It will be fine if you leave it on. Just might get occasionally toasty, but nothing to worry about.
