On the Step Into Liquid DVD(s) athere is Kelly Slater Pro Surfer.

Under Disc 2, there is component folder on teh dvd and then ksps and then mac installer. im still new to mac and cant for the olife of me figure out how to open the installer. it says i need to choose an application to open it. the icon just says exec in green on a blackboard ...

anyone? im totally confused here.

Cut and pasted from the closing message in the other thread: "P.S. It's not a blackboard -- it's a terminal screen icon. Apparently, you've got an installer that's either a UNIX executable (unlikely), or a broken installer package."

Anyway, you *might* try selecting Terminal as the application with which to open the executable on the off-chance that it is just a UNIX executable. But more likely, you just have a broken installer pachage on your hands.

thats just wierd becuase it waas striaght off the dvd .. it wasnt anythign else ..

thanks again!

i tried to just drop and drag it into terminal but that didnt work .. anyhow .. thanks again!
