Don't want Java menu up top

	I have two java applets that have menu bars and it'd rather have the menu bar in the applet's window than up fraternizing with Explorer/Safari's menu items. There are lots of documents telling how to get the menu into OSX's menu bar, but not how to not have it there. Using -Dcom.apple.macos.useScreenMenuBar=false didn't bring it back down. Any suggestions?
