I had to check both PC and MAC. Perhaps a option for "Both" would have been nice.

Mac. Always have been, and proud of it. I hope to never have to buy a PC. Maybe Virtual PC, but even that I've been able to avoid thus far.

Got my PC for free. It came with a Sony Trinitron CRT, so I don't complain.

It's not a war.

I am quite happy with macs and PCs co-existing. I just wish MS would stop some of their monopoly tactics.

I'm always on my Mac.

So what do I do on my PC... hmm...

I use it for a few specific purposes
* Games
* Kazaa
* Backup files over network
* Copying/Burning DVDs
* Watching video formats (eg: .avi) that always seem to display better on my PC

So I really do need a PC, and I will always have one until there is a real Kazaa client for X and game developers take the Mac seriously.

(Neither will ever happen)

I've never owned anything but a Mac. Only time that I use a PC is in a work situation.

i prefer my mac anyday of the week over the pc..but i had to buy a pc for the online shipping programs i use...i tried virtual pc but it was excruciatingly slow plus the little usb postage meter was recognized only 1/4 of the time (and it caused kernel panics in osx)..so rather than commit myself i gave in and got the pc that is pretty much just used for that...fed ex ship manager( will run on the mac but some of the forms crap out on me)it & stamps.com programs are mainly designed for pcs only

I don't know about that. mlMac is a preety good Kazza client, without the spyware/ads, etc.

How seriously do want game developers to take us? we get all the top notch games already. If you forget the StarCraft debacle, Blizzard, for example, has even good at equal releases.

I use mac exclusively, now that I don't have a job, and the complimentary Thinkpad that came with it.

I've said this before: PCs have their place, I guess. I personally believe an office full of Macs is a waste unless they're all running FCP or Maya.

And Photoshop; don't forget Photoshop, else Maya gets lonely.

Both, the Mac gets used most of the time though. The PC is a Sony subnote that's great for portability since it weighs under 3 lbs. That plus it's almost 2 years old and I don't have to worry about babying it like my new AlBook. I use Photoshop, Quark, and the iApps on the Mac and do word processing and Internet stuff on the PC.

I use both, btw, this is kind of a pointless poll to put on a mac forum.

Macs. Both at home and at work.

I don't consider myself a mac zealot. Although, in the one job where I was made to use a PC, I quit after two weeks

but unfortunately a lot of the people i work for use pcs.

i just whish macromedia and adobe would concentrate their efforts on optimizing their software for the mac platform...

Mac and PC. I perfer to use the Mac, but there are a few apps that I need to have a PC around for. I also use PC's at my full-time job, but a Mac for freelance work.

A computer is just a fancy tool. It's silly to get worked up about whether a flat-head screwdriver or a phillips-head screwdriver is superior. They each have a use.
