Is this script reverting the SystemUIServer.php from 64 to 32 bit code?
I shouldn't need to do this as I am not booting into the 64 bit kernel.

SystemUIServer ≠ kernel

Just got my copy of Snow Leopard in the mail today. Looks like I'll wait a few weeks to install it.

Crossover doesn't work unless you upgrade to version 8.

Which makes sense since they had to put out a couple of ten-thousand licenses they weren't planning on for free back when they lost that bet.

If you haven't been using Letterbox, when the update for SL comes out, you should give it a try.
Oh poop. My SL box is in the post but the thought of running Mail without letterbox is enough to make me hold on the update until the SL update is available. Mail without three column views is practically unthinkable now.

I found out GPG Mail hasn't been updated and according to the website, they will probably not make a 64 bit version. Bummer.

I got my HP 5610 printer working, but the scanner won't work. Could I possibly use a generic TWAIN to use the scanner?

Try Image Capture. It's been upgraded to work with more scanners.

No scanner appears. I could probably use my camera as a scanner.

Finally lost Toast. But I've got version 5.2.3 so I guess it's kinda expected.

DVD2OneX doesn't seem to be working.

Anyone got ideas on how I can make backup copies of my DVDs now? I used to use MTR-->DVD2OneX-->Toast.

I've had issues using Tunnelblick and Viscosity connecting to an OpenVPN server.

So what's the verdict on ad blocking in SL's Safari4. Is there any clean (no hacks) but convenient way to do it?

I'm using safari adblock, but it's not blocking *nearly* as much as it used to. I tried glimmerblocker (for the 30th time) and find it to be completely lacking.

I'm hoping culater brings us a 64 bit (hell i would settle for 32 bit properly working) pith helmet. Every time I see a SIMBL update on macupdate I get excited.

But does Safari AdBlock require you to run SL Safari in 32-bit mode?

OK, so it's the same as SafariBlock.

Really? I found the installation completely seamless and the functionality to be great.

Bit the bullet and got Toast (at newegg for $70 w/ free shipping too!). Couldn't quite understand the difference between Popcorn and Toast but for $20 more, I figured why not just get Toast.

I've been using the handbrake snapshot, x64 gui build, and it has worked where the 0.9.3 has failed. Might be worth a look for those with issues.
