Is anyone having problems accessing their Hotmail accounts?
I get my Hotmail through Outlook Express, and I am getting an error on both of my accounts -- I have two accounts -- that says the "servername does not exist."
While I can only HOPE that Microsoft indeed still no longer exists, I am guessing that is not the case. Is anyone aware of any widespread problems with Hotmail, or any useful fix? There was a time a few months ago where I had to delete my Hotmail account on OE, and then re-enter it again. I am wondering if something like that is again needed.
Thanks!

I have been unable to access the MSN Homepage all day, at home (dial-up) and at work (T1). I am well aware of what Free of Charge gets you.

I get all my email through MSN's Hotmail.
I only access my Hotmail account using Internet Explorer 5 (with an iMac.)
I have not had any trouble retrieving my email or MSN's home page
today or any time, recently.

P.S. My friend in NC (using a PC) couldn't get on her Hotmail
with IE, today, though.

Yeah!!! I've been having the same problem in the last few days. I'd also like to know how to stop this.

Last week, Microsoft had a lot of problems with their sites due to human error (so they say) then holes in security of their DNS server that was hacked. They are trying to solve the problem but add i am pretty sure they will mess it more. You can send them the suggestion to use OS X server or Oracle to run their servers instead of their Windows 2000 Bul...it. Bill Gates should call Steve or Larry to give a hand!

Microsoft has changed hotmail so that you can no longer access it from Outlook or Mail.app using the plug-in. The only way to get that capability back is to SUBSCRIBE to Hotmail.
