I just can't sign in, OS X won't recognize ANY passwords!!!!!
It's like if I erased the password files and OS X doesn't know it!!!!
This happened to me also in an iBook, and my present machine is an iMac DV....I can go back to OS 9 but I can't log into X.

Any ideas about solving this issue????

Did you try deleting and re-installing OS X? That will casue that to happen. You'll need to delete OS X, and A bunch of Invisible folders (Best if you use FileBuddy and use it's delete feature). Then ReInstall OS X, this will delete everything and when reinstalled you'll get the Assistant to re enter your pictures.
