keep this to G4 models only.
list system specs and any mods / apps you are running that may affect startup time.

i'm getting around 90 seconds after a clean install of 10.3.2 and upgrade to 10.3.7.

apps / mods i'm running that may affect startup:
synergy
tinkertool to pin the dock to one corner
metallifizer (and ape) by unsanity to kill the damned brushed metal

my G4 iBook: 800mhz, 640mbRAM

12" iBook 1.2ghz / 1.2gb

How about 0 seconds since I never really restart. Well its been over a month anyway. Last I remember thoughit was about 75 seconds for my 1.2ghz G4 768mb ram. Nothing other than menumeters that would slow startup time.

running a fresh install of OSX 10.3->10.3.7

the chip is at 800mhz, 640mb of ram

if u want faster, try looking in the startup items in the user accounts pref pane, there is a list, and you can shorten it.

Also, things like Application enhancers (eg: Shapeshifter, cleardock can)

What i dont know is if there are any good defrag tools out there, anyone know if they make systems faster? cos i have never found a program that is meant to or does in fact speed things up in any way.
