Mine cache com.apple.bird is at 4gb, anyone know, is safe to delete?

Have you looked at this Apple user forum thread? It appears it's the Whatsapp iCloud backup.

Thanks I did see that! Confusing.. so do you know T? is it 100% whatsapp? not apple. All caches safe to delete? What will vanish in whatsapp then?

As far as I can tell, it's a Whatsapp thing. Sounds like you can safely delete it. But, if you don't disable Whatsapp's backup to the cloud, it'll just return and start growing again. At least that's what it sounds like. Never use the thing myself.

So, it's just a backup... wont lose anything.. what is it backing up? I wonder what the downside could be?

And I wonder what whatapp backup to clould is doing?
